• Your account on the site will use your email address
• You may have set up contacts with your email address
• Some other extensions require email
• Have you entered email addresses directly into any article (not recommended) 
• In the HCP there may be email forwarders to your email address, e.g. admin@yourdomain
• Your account to access the HCP requires your email address - ask an administrator if this needs changing
