This site is aimed at supporting webmasters who have their Area or Group Web site hosted by us. To have an account with us you must agree the following terms and conditions.

Your Responsibilities

We ask that you are careful to ensure that password and other security information to access your site are handled as securely as possible.

You notify us as quickly as possible if

• you think your site has been hacked
• you think any security information has been accessed by someone who is not a Ramblers member.

You must also keep your details (profile) on this site up to date and subscribe to the appropriate areas of our forum.

We ask you to log on to ramblers-webs.org.uk at least once a year so we know you are still active.

We may send you the occasional email, either via our support system or in the form of a newsletter. These systems may monitor your access to these emails so we know who has accessed them.

If you pass the web master role on to another then you must

• ensure the new web master registers on this site
• if necessary request the administrators delete your account

If your site is hosted by us then you must comply with the terms and conditions of our hosting account

Our Responsibilities

We will try and support your web site as best we can and try and keep any security details private.

In particular your personal details (address, telephone, email address, membership number) are only accessible by the Administrators of this web site. We will not pass these on to anyone else. They are only required so that we can get in touch with you.

This site will be updated with information to try and help you develop your site more easily.
