Booking Systems for group walks was created by Peter Camber
Walking in groups is now permitted by Ramblers, subject to a number of new conditions, including that all walks must be published on GWEM and pre-booked in order to limit the number of walkers. They have produced a Quick Guide that suggests a number of options for booking systems, including Facebook Events, Meetup, Eventbrite and Google Forms.

Has anyone successfully implemented a walks booking system using these or other software tools, ideally with an interface allowing the walk details to be populated from GWEM?

As this problem will need to be solved by all Ramblers groups, it would be helpful if we could share our experiences. Any thoughts and any suggestions on this will be greatly appreciated.
