Rebranding colours and contrast was created by Leon Fotiadis
Hello
I had a number of people mentioning that they could not read easily the new colours, especially on mobile phones.
With North Herts I have used the same colours as Ramblers-webs - for the menu - sunset bar with white lettering. On mobiles with wider screens this appears as sunset with white letters and in some mobiles with smaller screens as mintcake with white lettering.

After the comments I checked with  webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/
The contrast comes up as 1.6 with the mintcake and 2.6 with the sunset. Not an expert on this but the pass seems to be 4.5 with normal text.
If we change the lettering to granite we get 3.8 with sunset (which fails normal lettering) and 5.5 with the mintcake.
So we never get a full pass across the devices.
I am not sure how hot the WebAIM is in these matters but their website deals with accessibility (what Ramblers tells us is the new drive) and inclussivity.
Any comments?
Leon
