Avoiding Spam Filters & Mailchimp was created by Eric Crichton
I see there were no offers of alternatives to Mailchimp.
I need to switch to Mailchimp or something else.
I'm advises that if I use an email address based on our website domain, then spam filters will tend to let these through.
I'm not clear how to use the domain name for that, we are not using any email system with it?
Is that a correct understanding?
Are their other ways of avoiding spam filters?
Reading other submissions the Mailchimp issues seem to be:-
- if user uses Mailchimp unsubscribe, we can't override that. User has to re-subscribe regardless of profile settings.
- If keep deleting and re-loading there is a risk of Mailchimp rejecting it as spam?
- could run out of Administrator "slots"
Any other issues?
Thanks Eric
