   Appreciate this might not be the intended place for this query but I've been trying to work this out through my chair/area rep and not got a clear/helpful answer after weeks of backwards and forwards. My groups site is custom built site our own events management system which we love, it allows members to post proposed walks and have them approved by the committee but this sits completely outside of GWEM and the Ramblers setup. For a variety of reasons we're looking to move to GWEM and Joomla but the ability for many walk leaders to add walks with the minimum of committee admin is really crucial to us. We had 20 walk leaders in the past 6 months, many of whom were first time walk leaders.
My question is, is there any way for us to self admin editors/contributors on GWEM? Either through GWEM itself or through Assemble. My chair managed to get us setup on GWEM by emails but it took weeks for him which is way more admin then a potential walk leader will be willing to do/wait for. The guides on Assemble don't suggest this is possible, although I did get an email earlier this week about self maintaining volunteer roles? I've also seen this contributor button on GWEM, but when I click it I see a "Oops - something is not right screen"?




Does anyone else have any suggestions/explanations on how to get to where we want? Ideally we'd be able to self add editors and contributors but I'm open to other solutions. I find it hard to believe we're the only group with a large number of walk leaders that want to self admin to a large degree.
