Joomla 5 was created by ian brander
I've seen a couple of postings about upgrading to Joomla 5 and I'm unsure of where we are with this. Should we be upgrading our live sites to Joomla 5 or should we be waiting?
I tried an upgrade on a local copy of our web site and it all seems to work OK. I then tried switching off the compatibility plugin and immediately got an error preventing the admin site from working. The error was related to the use of JPlugin in JROOT/plugins/system/ramblers.php:16. I was able to re enable the compatablity plugin from the database but does this mean that the ramblers libaries aren't fully ready?
