I set up email forwarding using HCP for our website new.sehampshireramblers.org.uk and it worked OK. Now the site is live as sehampshireramblers.org.uk and I changed email forwarding from xxxx@new.sehampshireramblers.org.uk to xxxx.sehampshireramblers.org.uk ie the new. is removed.
However, in most cases, when I click on a link such as chairman@sehampshireramblers.org.uk on the website the email is opened with the address chairman@new.sehampshireramblers.org.uk If I remove the new. by hand it works, but most people would not do that.
I have deleted all the forwarding addresses in HCP and re-entered them, but apart from programme@sehampshire..... they still come up with the new.
The admin@sehampshire...... addresses all work OK.
Any ideas on how to get round this? Thanks for any help that you can give.
