Hello, now that our site has moved to Cloud Next, I am hoping to be able to use the backup facilities provided by the host. I discover that we have two backup tools, one called Backup / Restore, and the other called Timeline Backups.
I used the first one today to create a backup of our site, and downloaded it successfully to my computer - similar to what I used to do with the plugin BackUpWordPress from HumanMade. The HCP said that any such backups are removed after 12 hours, so they do not take up space on the server. So that works OK, except that the process of taking the backups is not automated.
I then had a look at Timeline Backups. This apparently contains Cloud Next automated backups of our files and databases, as there is a daily list of backups. I can see that I can restore any of these backups, but I cannot download them to my computer or to some cloud storage facility.
Could I please ask what backup approach other Wordpress users take?
