I have now tried five different types of systems for adding photos to our web site over the years, four of which have been dropped for one reason or another. These have been brought about by change of ISP, starting to charge for the service, introduction of adverts, difficulty and lack of space all have been the reasons for these changes.
It appears that I will have to try and find another method from May 1st, as Google are retiring Picasa Webs are changing to Google Photos. There is to be a re-direct link to the retired Picasa Webs albums. There is NO public url link for sharing available within Google Photos at present and it would appear that it is no intention to provide one, meaning I cannot share albums in the future as currently done.
Not sure if any other site use Picasa Webs and if they have any plans for anything after the May 1st deadline or if indeed there is a similar method available.
I have thought of one possible work around (provide an article of the walks and hide the sharing link under a clickable link to Google). Not sure how this will work but seems to be the only solution unless you know better?
